UCD Gamesoc Newsletter #017 Mk. II

Hello Gamesoc,

Apologies for the second email this week, but a few of this weeks events need clarification or alteration.

WEDNESDAY: GAMESOC COLOURS

Where: The main concourse area of the Student Centre

This Wednesday, we will be taking on Trinity Gamers in the UCD Student Centre for the coveted Duggan-Tisdall Octarine Cup.

The games being played are:

• Scrabble
• Dominion
• Race for the Galaxy

All games will be using the core game with no expansions. The dictionary for Scrabble is Sophos.

There will be two games played of each, best of 3 for Dominion and Race (time depending), each game is worth one point to the victor. All games will be one on one.

So whether you're a world champion scrabble player, or have never even heard of Dominion, come along and play or support us as we do battle with our rivals.

THURSDAY: MAGIC DRAFT

Where: The Grind

The L5R event that was planned for this week will not be going ahead. A Magic Draft will be taking place this thursday instead for all you M:TG fans.

T-shirts/hoodies

Just a last announcement to clarify that this is the last week that we will be offering hoodies or T-shirts to those that want them this year. If you are interested in getting in on the order please email ucdgamesoc@gmail.com or find Domo. We have seen a little interest but we need a good bit more before it's worth us putting in the order.

Once again, the items are:

T-shirt - black, white logo - €10-15

Hoddy - black or grey, w/logo - €25-30
